A dynamic class where the breath guides us as we move through asanas (postures) with intention and awareness. We also practice pranayamas (breathing techniques) and cultivate a sense of connection with the present moment during the whole practice. In this class, you’re invited to experience the deeper layers of yoga, not just on the physical plane, but as a way to observe the mind and how we move through daily life. As we cultivate a more intimate connection with what life brings, our body and mind begin to reflect that presence in our actions.

Hatha Yoga is a traditional path of yoga that works through the body and breath to prepare for stillness and inner awakening.
The word Ha–Tha represents the union of opposites—sun and moon, effort and surrender. 
The word Vinyasa means “to place in a special way,” pointing to the sequencing of postures guided by the breath.
We move with intention, awakening presence through rhythm and breath.

This is a class for all levels.

I’m Maria, originally from Colombia, and I found yoga while exploring how inner awareness could guide my actions and help me live with more intention. With a background in sociology and a deep interest in philosophy, yoga became a path to presence, a way to feel the body as part of the greater web of all sentient life.For me, yoga is not just a physical practice, but a space to listen, to return, and to remember what is essential. It helps me navigate life with more softness, clarity, and connection.
I’ve completed a 200-hour Ashtanga Vinyasa teacher training and studied Hatha Yoga during a period of immersion in Nepal. My practice is rooted in understanding the mind and cultivating a gentle awareness of interbeing—both on and off the mat. I’ve also studied Buddhism and Indigenous Knowledge, which continue to shape the way I move, teach, and relate to the world.
I’m currently studying and teaching at Ashtanga Yoga Berlin under the guidance of Grischa Steffin, while continuing to develop a holistic and embodied approach to yoga.
